About this position: 

Our client is a highly profitable manufacturer of products for the medical sector. With an established customer base in the UK, which includes the NHS, distributors and the wider Healthcare system. They also have a fast-growing export business with an enviable reputation for the quality of their products and their customer service. They are a fast-paced manufacturing business who have invested heavily in their equipment and technology. For the successful candidate there is a large end financial reward, linked to performance.

The Role: 
  • Reporting directly to the Chairman you will have full P&L responsibility and autonomy to run the business. Capitalising on growth and business opportunities both within the core UK market and wider international markets.
  • To develop an acquisition strategy which will further deliver long term growth and cost integration thereafter.
  • To maximise profitability from the existing manufacturing facility, both commercially and operationally. To motivate and inspire the leadership team, embodying the core values of the organisation with a key emphasis on customer service.
The Person: 
  • A proven Managing Director who has excelled in a leadership, high profile role, ideally with experience within the Healthcare sector, although not essential.
  • You will have a broad commercial understanding who has driven sales performance, marketing and production with a strong customer focus and impeccable financial oversight. The role may suit a individual looking for their first step up into an Managing Director position.
  • An excellent communicator who can build credibility and influence at every level within the business. Experience of operating in a fast-paced manufacturing organisation.
