About this position: 

Our client is a leading first tier main contractor who are one of the UK's largest Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contractors with expertise ranging from M&E, LV, HV power. Its specialist rail division has in depth expertise delivering projects to meet the growing demands of the UK’s rail infrastructure with diverse experience in design, engineering, project management, reactive and maintenance across the rail network. Following recent contract wards they wish to appoint Project Managers to their business.

The Role: 

You will oversee the Project Management of a variety of projects across the rail infrastructure network from conception to client handover to ensure all safety, quality, technical and commercial requirements are achieved or surpassed.

 

With strong project management experience with a proven track record in the delivery of Mechanical & Electrical projects across Railway infrastructure from £50k - £5m.

 

You will have experience of managing operational teams, achieving and setting targets, and be able to apply financial and budgetary controls to maximise returns.

The Person: 

Preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or Construction Management with 5 years plus experience in the delivery of Rail sector associated M&E projects on projects.

 

With first class technical and commercial acumen you will be a proven leader with the gravitas to enhance delivery and promote best practice, safety, and risk management.
