Our client Is a leading British Food with established brands and an ever-growing own label business across all UK Retail channels. Due to planned growth, they have created a new role on the commercial leadership team and are looking to recruit a channel controller.
- Reporting to the Commercial Director and a Key member of the commercial leadership team you will design and deliver a growth strategy for UK Discount/ Variety retail channels with full accountability.
- Will utilise group commercial & operational resources to deliver growth through new and existing accounts.
- Will engage with customers at a senior level to drive new and existing sales whilst focussing on delivering exceptional service levels.
- Responsible for building a broader dedicated commercial team as the channel grows.
- Will have a proven track record growing sales across UK discount/ variety retail markets in a relevant FMCG category. Brand and Private label food experience preferred but not essential.
- Exceptional communication & presentation skills you will be comfortable leading presentations and short- & Long-term contract negotiations with customers at a senior level.
- Will be keen to join an organisation who are targeting significant growth in the next 5 years.
