About this position: 

Our client is a successful and well established privately owned regional building contractor working within the M25. Following continued profitable growth, they wish to appoint a Senior Contracts manager.

The Role: 
  • Reporting into the Managing Director you will be directly responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects in London ensuring Health & safety, Project Milestones & Commercial returns.

 

  • Will oversee the preparation of tenders and quotes through the sales and estimating team to ensure commercial competitiveness and margins.

 

  • Manage relationships with main contractors and contractual negotiations on projects across Mixed use, Hotels, Commercial, Residential, Education & healthcare on new build and refurbishment projects from £1m - £6m each.
The Person: 
  • Preferably with a Degree qualification, MCIOB or from a structural engineering back ground you will have in-depth expertise in the delivery of building & refurb projects within the M25.
  •  

Be able to demonstrate a track record of growth and margin improvement alongside safety leadership.

 

Demonstrate contractual awareness of standard forms of contract (NEC, JCT, ICE etc) with a team approach to developing and leading staff in a business that both recognises and rewards the delivery of set goals.
