About this position: 

Our client is based in Dublin and provides first class workmanship and delivering high quality construction projects. They are passionate about their work and expertise in delivering innovative solutions for their clients and exceeding their expectations. They are renowned for delivering all projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard. They would now like to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Dublin and in education build sector.

The Role: 
  • Hands on approach, clear direction to onsite construction team.
  • Managing the day to day operation from foundation to completion including the critical paths for labour, materials and plant whilst also considering any lead-times associated with these elements.
  • Ensuring the projects are completed in accordance to the project specifications and educational build programme.
  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with customers onsite.
  • Driving through quality at every stage.
  • Ensuring all building control and warranty stages are inspected and fully achieved.
  • Championing Health and Safety on all sites.
  • Keeping site records up to date including the site daily diary, scaffold inspection and plant registers.
  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with customers onsite.
  • Liaise and report to the construction director site activity and any challenges.
The Person: 
  • Holds the relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying desirable)
  • 4+ years’ experience in similar position.
  • Good understanding of construction some involvement in education sector.
  • Driving licence required
