About this position:
Our client is a leading supplier of technical components and systems to the global defence sector. Due to promotion they are looking to appoint a Vice President Sales.
- Reporting to a divisional CEO and a key member of the senior leadership team you will design and deliver a global Sales/ New business development strategy focussing on increasing revenues through new and existing customers across various channels.
- Will lead an internationally mobile team and establish localised teams/functions as the business grows.
- Will represent the business at the highest level within your region and develop close working relationships with customers to ensure short and long-term targets are achieved and exceeded.
- Degree educated and ideally multi-lingual you will have a proven track record within a relevant sales environment with the ability to prove you can win and close complex long term agreements.
- Exposure to both OEM and relevant gov./defence channels in emerging markets would be highly advantageous as would previous experience winning €multimillion long term service agreements.
- The gravitas and ability to lead and mentor an international sales force in a growth environment.
