Our client is an award-winning privately owned British food group who produce a wide range of Private Label Chilled and frozen food products for predominantly UK retail customers. Having enjoyed rapid growth in recent times the owner is looking to appoint a sales director to take them to the next level.
- Reporting Directly to the Board and a key member of the senior management you will own the sales agenda for all channels in the UK.
- Will lead a multifunctional team and work closely alongside peers and customers to ensure group and joint business plans are achieved.
- Will operate in both a hands-on and strategic manner to target growth across new and existing accounts, focussing on growth in the UK retail sector.
- Of degree calibre, you will have a proven track record in private label food sales with the ability to prove you can increase profitable revenues through UK channels by working closely alongside the customer.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the gravitas to represent the business at a senior level.
- The ability to lead a multifunctional team in a commercially rounded autonomous leadership position
