UK Head of Sales- Private Label Food and Beverage

About this position:
Our client is a leading European manufacturer of private label Food and Beverage products. Due to a recent promotion and continued growth targets, they wish to appoint a UK Head of Sales.
- Reporting directly to the European Commercial Director, you will be responsible for solely the company’s entry into the UK and Ireland Variety Retailer market.
- You will be tasked with developing and implementing an aggressive strategy for the acquisition of new business within the Discount Retail Sector, targeting the major UK/European Variety Retail chains.
- You will grow and lead a new sales team to achieve strong commercial performance on both tendered and negotiated new business.
- Ideally of graduate calibre, you must have a proven track record of successfully growing revenues and acquiring new business within the Variety Retail channel.
- You have previously developed strong commercial relationships with major Discount Retailers and have access to key contacts at the highest level.
- You have an understanding of the Grocery Retail market, specifically focussing on rapidly emerging European Discount Grocers.
